Bottle. Amber, orange color. Medium head. Not one of the better Oktoberfest beers. Taste and aroma was malty but there were some off taste and off aromas.

Caramel color with a large foamy orange head that lingered. Sweet and tangy with honey, orange and a hint of tobacco. Long finish. Medium body.

12 oz. bottle from Total Wine. Pours a clear dark bronze color with a large beige head and great retention. Decent lacing. Caramel malt aroma. Sweet caramel and toasted malt flavor, with enough balance to keep the sweet in check. Medium+ body. Medium carbonation. Low bitterness. A really good, clean, repeatable Marzen. Prost!

K, so here I am rating a beer that I bot clear back in 2022 but it was in my cellar in a mixed sixer, oh well. I forgot to rotate my stock. At least it's a fest, so it should taste pretty good, right? You know, fests are aged anyway, right? Pour is typical clear darker pale okky brew, but I must admit, it got quite a head on it. Nose is mild cloy. Nice eye. Taste is certainly on style OF. A little palate kick on an otherwise somewhat offensive lager? Just asking. In the middle, I get just a hint of co2, level could be a little higher, heheheheh; you know, just to make it interesting. Yes, good forward taste, but for the uncivil behavior this exhibits, it could have been a higher in its alky contest, just saying. There you have it.

Wegmans bottle. Medium gold with a small off-white head. Soapy cracker nose. Honeycomb, brown leaf, toffee, soap. A bit sweet, not cloying, but sweeter than I like.
