We start with a brown porter brewed with dark roasted malts, and add one pound of chocolate per barrel. We then throw in some Madagascar Vanilla beans to accentuate the chocolate flavors, resulting in a decadent porter.

Bottle. It pours brown with a light brown head. The aroma is very chocolaty with cocoa powder and vanilla. The flavor is the same. Nice rich cocoa notes without being too thin or sugary, but not syrupy either. Pretty simple stuff, but crowd pleasing I guess.

12 ounce bottle. 6.5% ABV. Barely translucent dark brown color topped by a large rocky beige head. Rich chocolate malt nose. Like a chocolate cake glazed donut. Flavor follows nose. Sweet roasted malt and milk chocolate flavor. Medium bodied but on the thin side. Notes of mocha and cocoa powder.
