Had a few of these at food festival I was ate which Asahi sponsored. Light Amber yellow pour. Nose is faint floral and caramel. Tastes of similar light caramel, earthy, floral and cereals. Watery palate.

Bottle. Pours amber color with small foamy beige head, very faint caramel aroma, high carbonation, very little caramel taste with a metallic tint, medium finish. Not a very inspiring beer.

A Japanese restaurant on St. Mark’s: Pours light copper with a white head. Aroma was basically grainy with a little bit of hops and sugar. Taste is like a slightly more heavy pale lager. I was expecting something more in Vienna land. Anyway, it was fine, but underwhelming.

Bottle from Hi Time. Pours amber/copper with a creamy off-white head. Light bready aroma. Near med body. Notice the description doesn’t mention hop, and that’s probably truth in advertising. This is not a bitter beer. Which makes it close to not being a beer. Having vented, I will say that it is drinkable and likely would wash food down well. Or clean your car wheels.

Bottle as shown. Pours a clear copper gold with a medium creamy off white head that lasts awhile leaving good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is corn malt and rice. Medium mouthfeel with a bitter corn malt with a metallica finish. Not too much with this one.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is roasted malty. Light sweet flavoured, roasted light breadish malty and bitter. Ends dry and lingering malty.

Bottle. Creamy malt aroma. Reddish amber color with small head. A rice pudding flavor - light cinnamon and nutmeg but also soy sauce. Not a great flavor - I don’t really get into the soy sauce flavor that I always seem to get from Japanese beers.

Wow, a pleasant surprise. Vaguely in the vienna style, if a touch light for the style. Burnt amber color, large bubbles and medium head. Aroma mostly of caramelized malts, with a touch of floral hops. Nice big caramelized palate, with an easy finish with enough hops for balance, no more. Turns out to be a nice tasting and easy drinking amber lager, with rounded caramel sweetness. A good partner to food in general, and in particular was really nice with smoked bbq ribs.
