Draft at brewery. Vanilla like moderate esters Belgian yeast aroma. Flavor has similar esters and straightforward American take on the style. At least this one isn't husky like most of the lineup today at the brewery. I give more leeway for Belgian styles.

Bottle shared at Hellcat Annie's. Sweet, Belgian yeast and fruit aroma. Toffee, molasses. Drinks very sweet. Feel is overly sticky. Okay, but way too sweet for me. 6/3/5/2/11

Bot. Hazy like a darker hefe. From the start I know this is not a belgian, its got too many spices, coriander fennel and other stuff in there. Difficult at times due to the spices. Quite unexpected spiced level but now I see it is a winter seasonal, should cal this a holiday beer, that’s what it taste like. I must say it hides the alky pretty well. Smell is terribly spiced as well. Somewhat medicinal in its presentation. Can’t get over the amount of spice in here.

12 ounce bottle. Cloudy orange color. Rocky white head. Yeasty malt nose. Sweet yeasty malt flavor has notes of orange and lemon peel. Earthy notes with a hint of sourdough bread. A tasty brew, but not very much of a winter style.

Some bodega down the street: Pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is candied augar, ambiguous fruitiness, and yeast. Taste ia pretty damn sweet with a slight hoppy tinge to it. Aftertaste is sugar. Mouthfeel is even a bit sticky. Meh.

Draught. Cloudy bright yellow with very small foamy white head, doughy aroma, thin body, tangy yeast taste, low carbonation, longish finish. Not a very remarkable brew.
