Narwhal Imperial Stout is inspired by the mysterious creature that thrives in the deepest fathoms of the frigid Arctic Ocean. Rich with notes of espresso, baker’s cocoa, roasted grain and a light hint of smoke, Narwhal brims with malt complexity. Aggressive but refined with a velvety smooth body and decadent finish, Narwhal will age in the bottle for years to come.

This is surprisingly not great for a RIS, it is quite bitter forward and doesn’t have the giant mouthfeel and lacks complexity. D&S Dresden. 11 month old bottle

355ml bottle. Pours an opaque black with a medium, creamy, long lasting, tan head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate, ash, licorice and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, licorice, caramel, earth, ash and bitter coffee in a dry, hoppy, warming booze finish. Full body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Tasty.

Schokoladiger Geruch, viel Kakao. Runder malziger, moderat herber Beginn. Würzig kakaoartiger, leider auch etwas metallerner Mittelteil, weich, mittellanger Abgang. 9/10/10/10//10
