Pours thick and syrupy, pitch black with a chocolate colored head. Aroma of cocoa, sweet molasses. Taste has dark, not burnt, but very dark malt, molasses, nutty flavors alongside coffee. Palate has rich chocolate notes that coat the mouth and add a certain level of non-hop-cocoa-derived bitterness. Excellent.

Huge beer but a little too much black patent for my personal taste. Great thick creamy long-lasting tan head. Aromas of roast, cocoa, dark malt, molasses and circus peanuts. Flavors are similar to nose, sweet up front, with some growing bitter coming on strong towards the end. A little whiskey in there too it seems.Decent beer but my taste have changed away from this kind of brew.

Pours a deep dark brown to black colour with an average sized foamy tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, dark chocolate, caramel with some dried dark fruit notes. A moderately sweet and bitter taste, roasted malts, bitter chocolate and molasses flavours with a dryish roasted bitter and warming alcohol finish.

0,355 l bottle. Pours pitch black with big, rocky, medium lasting light brown head. Aroma of coffee, molasses, some cocoa. Surprisingly tamed I might add. Flavor follows aroma and it's also tamed. I expected something brash, but it's gentle and sort of refined. Taste is low to medium sweet and medium bitter. Body is full, texture oily, carbonation gentle. Finish is quite long, mellow bitterness lingers on tongue for a while. Gentle, reasonably balanced, alcohol is well hidden.

Õlu mida olen tahtnud proovida pikemat aega. Selline tummine ja röstine imp staut, aga tasakaal ei ole päris paigas - ootasin enamat. Vbla natuke rohkem seismist teeks head, aga praegult on lihtsalt hea, aga mitte enamat.

Minimal, brown head. Taste: Medium sweet, malty, strong roasty, chocolate, spicy alcohol, medium bitter, some cocoa, coffee. Palate: Medium-full body. Creamy, sticky texture. Long warm, roasty/astringent finish.

Brunsvart vätska med lite skum. Framträdande dofter av kakao, rostat kaffe och vanilj. Eldig munattack som stöds av rostade kaffebönor, kakao och brända bildäck. Lång eftersmak.
