(Bottle) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of dark bread, caramel, dates, treacle-toffee, nuts and orange peel. Malty taste with dark bread, caramel, dried fruit, dates, toffee, orange peel, ripe banana, a touch of dark rum and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and quite complex. Very nice.

Bottle from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. Hazy brownish/red with a medium head. Malt, caramel, toasted notes, nuts, some spices and mild dried fruit. Quite pleasant.

Brun lett tåkete med beige skum. Lukter kandis, mørk sirup og noe nøtter. Middels fyldig. Søt, maltig smak. Karamell, kandis, noe ristet brød og nøtter. Middels lang.

Mörkt rödbrun och disig med ett tjockt skum. Lite choklad, lite lakrits, lite farin och en hel del smygande humle. Lite kärv finish. Ganska trevlig öl.

500ml Bottle - Dark brown with red tinges. Cherries, brown sugar, biscuity malt and blackcurrant in the aroma. Brown sugar, sweet almonds, cherries, berries and some faint notes of vanilla in the taste. Enjoyable and rather interesting. I have not tasted anything quite like this before, even though it is a relatively uncomplicated beer.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy copper brown, mid sized. Caramelly nose with red jelly and herbal spices. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Toasty and spicy, notes of banana. Mid bitter finish. Harmonious and quite complex.
