En ljus öl som är mörk. Rejäl men ändå lättdrucken.

A quite fine and tasty beer. I prefer black ipa a bit more fruity. But would have no problems with another one of this beer. Looks nice with a fine frothy beige head. Also a fine intensity in the aroma. Ok carbonation level and a fine bitterness. Fine duration and an ok dry ending. Well masked alcohol. Roast, licorice, coffee and hoppy flavor. 250ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Pine, liquorice and some faint soapy notes in the aroma. Roasted malt, pine, liquorice, fudge and coffee all feature in the taste. The finish is slightly sweet and this beer doesn't taste as strong as it is.

Bottled at Växjö Ölfestival. Black, small coarse head. Rich black currant and licorice. Mid sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Hop driven with black currant in the drivers seat. Some tar and licorice behind. Warming bitter finish.
