Can from backlog. Pours yellow. Nose and taste of corn, light skunk and old water. Light watery body.

Can @ the First Annual Rocky Mountain Malt Liquor Tasting. Very clear, light yellow appearance with a fluffy white head. Corn, grainy malt, fusel alcohol aroma. Boozy, thick grainy, corn, nasty flavor. Maybe I could drink this beer bonging but it tastes like fucking hell.

OK, so I bought this cuz it was a) a beer I hadn’t rated, and 2) it was 2.50 for a 4 pack of 16oz cans. Whatever. Weird radioactive yellow color, smallish head that faded away immediately, and no apparent effervenscence in the glass, although it was mildly fizzy on the tongue. Aroma hinted at bready malts, green apple. Flavor started clean and bland, a little seltzer water with hints at malt and hop flavors at the finish. So first impression was bland but inoffensive, but then a fusel prickle came in and well..let’s just keep it ice cold and keep some pizza or something on hand to help wash this stuff down with!

Can. Poured gold with a white head. Aroma was sweet and a bit of bitterness. Flavor was overly sweet and not much else there.

12 oz can. Another warmed over macro product. Nothing more, nothing less. What else is there to say about these mass-appeal beers? Good when you’re a teenager and desperate definitely, but I don’t see why so many grown adults today drink this stuff. I’m talking about the majority of the beers produced by the big three here, Budcoorsmiller, not just Keystone Ice. Once you’ve had one, there’s little variation between any of them.

24 ounce can. Pours a clear golden color with a large frothy head. Poor head retention and lacing. Massive amounts of corn in the aroma along with candied grass? Is that possible? Weak flavor with faint notes of grain, grass and dirty water. Watery. Thin.

Can: Yellow pour with a large frothy white head. Some lager malt and grain, not much else. Ehhh, barely a pass here.

Overall Impression: Classic crap beer used for drinking games, parties, really anything where high ABV and low taste are the only goals

I love Keystone Light but I really don’t like its Ice counterpart. The Light is light enough that the taste and palate are unobtrusive and tolerable. Ice has more alcohol - which is great - but I think the taste suffers.

Can courtesy of Kinz on 11/29/2008. Very clear golden body with a large frothy white head. Very heavy corn aroma with some grain in the background. Corn flavor with grain and sticky honey hints. Medium light body with moderately high carbonation.
