Tried atStrait and Narrow, during the East Vs West event. Golden colour with a thin head. Aroma has plenty of clementine, and slight pine. Taste pithy bitter, and a touch coarse. decent body.

Can. Turner’s, Sheffield. Hazed gold. Film and halo of semi lacing, white head. Nose has clementine, as expected. Sweet, bready malts. A bit pithy. A bit fusty, and slightly resinous. Taste leans toward toffee sweetness, with some light, citrusy, pithy bitterness. Medium body. Crisp carbonation. Bittersweet finish. Hmm. It’s ok, but I was hoping for way more from these two brewers.
