Medium dark amber. Massive caramel, grapefruit, candied apples, cherries, mildly sweet. Big fully body tons of hops and tons of malt with great caramel malt backbone. Smooth. Alcohol well hidden. Perfectly balanced and perfect American strong ale. Good bitter finish.

Sampled from tap at Stone Garden Berlin. Hazy amber color with medium eggshell head. Aroma is toffee, pine, doesn’t smell that old! Taste is toffee, oxidized (but in the nice way), spruce, resinous. Oily mouthfeel, fine-bubbled low carbonation. Held up way better than expected. Nice stuff!
