The Biolégère is a top fermentation beer with refermentation in the bottle.
Created in 1992, this beer was the answer of our brewery to the increasing demands coming from a large group of potential clients, wanting an organic* beer with character but low in alcohol.
This light and refreshing blond beer combines marvellous aromas, taste of malt and citrus.
The refermentation in the bottle in combination with an “adapted hopping” are resulting into a complex beer with only a small degree of alcohol.
The production is being controlled by Certisys and the beer has the label Biogarantie®.

25cl bottle @ home shared with Thompson. Hazy pale yellow to slightly green color, huge rough white head that lasts and leaves a nice lacing. Only smell some maltyness, not much more. Taste malts, lightly bitter, slight hint of lemon. Low body, a bit sticky texture, medium carbonation. Easy drinkable, pretty fresh. Better then I expected.

Bottled 250ml. -from Presporska Pivoteka ie Cafe Luxor, Bratislava. Cloudy pale golden coloured, medium sized creamy white head, flowery nose. Watery and herbal with notes of vegetables, fruits and spices. Dry finish. Quite messy brew but not bad at all.

his beer was tasted at the 2007 Zythos fest. The weakest beer (in alcohol strength) I tried. Hazy, light urine yellow, go and see a doctor if you pass anything like this, no head to speak of. The aroma was of yeast, malt and summer flowers mixed up with lemons, not normal, but not unpleasant either. Tasted fine, slight fizz to it, citrus fruits to the fore which made it fairly sour and bitter. Mouthfeel wasn’t great, the bitterness hung around for a while, otherwise nothing much at all. A summer, hot day beer, I would have another, but not search one out.

Bottle @ home. Pours a hazy golden appearance with a nice, fluffy white head. There’s a somewhat floral, yet spicy yeasty element along with an effervescent, light citrusy, bready aroma. Tangy, refreshingly acidic, lemon citrusy, somewhat spicy, a touch tart flavor. There’s a nice mustiness to go along a floral component. Effervescent, easy drinking beer.

24/11/2011 25cl bottle @ Horeca Expo 2011 -BB:10/2013 (2011-674) Thanks to Guust for the beer!
Clear blond, small white head, unstable, adhesive. Aroma: typical Dupont yeast, some citrus, bit cheesy. MF: ok carbon, light body, bit watery. Taste: slightly citrus, bitter dry hops, hay. Not very much flavour (probably not the best beer to end a day of tasting either, calls for a re-rating). Aftertaste: bitter dry ending. In any case not bad for a 3.5%

Bottle, 25cl, at Bier Central. A hazy, yellowish golden beer with a small, white head. Hay, pale malts and a fruityness in the aroma. Rather fruity flavor, with hay and some yeast. Thin on the palate, nice carbonation. There is a fine bitterness in the end. Considering the abv, it is a nice one, else it is boring. 110429
