Draught. Amber-reddish colour with small head. Aroma is intensive red fruit, mostly strawberry and raspberry, some caramel and honey. Alcohol well hidden. High sweetness. Very similar to La Trappe Quad. Good one.

Somehow managed to miss this one before Jun. ’14. Had it from a 0.33 l bottle bought in Vrutak store, Zagreb. It poured, hazy brown-reddish body with compact, long lasting white head. Fine and delicious, typical Belgian ale aroma, yeasty vanilla, banana, some caramel. Flavor inclined to lightly sweet side, quite yeasty (too much), other than that fruity, mostly peach, a bit alcoholic and not nearly as complex nor pleasant as the nose. Medium bodied with creamy palate and again a bit more pleasant finish that was well rounded despite flaws in the flavor. Still quite sweet and warming/alcoholic. Not so bad, but expected more.

Hazy orange/amber color with a small head, disappearing. Smell is sweet, licorice, maybe anice too. Taste is candi sugar, spices, licorice, nuts, quite sweet, but nice. Some ripe fruits too. Medium carbonation. Nice.

Paid $5.25 for a 330 ml bottle from craft Beer Cellar, Portsmouth, NH. Served just slightly chilled. The color is a couldn’t amber that has slowly fading head on a slow canted pour into a Trappist glass.The aroma shows me some fruity yeast, with lots of toffee, and malty tones.
The flavor is starts with some spiced banana followed by clove and I hate to use it but ( bubblegum ). The texture is on the fuller side with some chewy yeast. No bitterness whatsoever with this being do all about by fruit, sugar and malt. Serviceable.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Bestillingsutvalget. Unclear orange coloured body under an off-white head with fine retention and fair lacing. Rather sweet aroma of apricot, dark caramel, and yeast on a spiced backbone. Dried and fresh fruity flavours joined by brown malts and integrated alcohol. Mid-sweet ending. Fine bodied. Foamy in the mouth. Quite alright, perhaps not the right choice for watching the football match between Norway and Italy on TV (Tromsø 09.09.2014).
