Bottle from Binny’s Beverage Depot - Downtown, Chicago. Slightly hazy amber-orange with a large, fluffy white head. Very nice hoppy aroma with pineapple and grape. The taste was very hoppy but not as fruity as expected. Nice, crispy mouth feel. Dry bitter finish.

Bottle @Kaisla, Helsinki. Pourd sl. hazy orange with a frothy, lacing white head. Tropical fruits, grassy hops aroma. Flavor is grapefruit, extreme bitterness, making it hard to detect much flavor. Long bitter, fruity finish. Not very balanced. Quite a disappointment.

(Bottle, 0.65 l, at Pikkulintu, 20111020) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was large, nearly white, long lasting and dense. Aroma pine, pineapple, malts and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were hops, pine, grass, mildly sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. Good balance and hop bite.

Very huge yellow head, pitting in over metallic orange beer. Nose of exotic fruit: pink grapefruit, papaya, passion fruit, rosewater, tangerine. Really bitter, but in a very fruity way. Grapefruit, citruszeste, hopoils galore, going into resiny/piney touches. Bitter green leaves. Sticky from the hopoils, medium bodied. A good one, without extravangances.

Pours orange with a large foamy head. Strong citrusy and hoppy aroma with notes of pine and fruits. Taste is quite fruity with notes of citrusy hops and pine. Quite carbonated, dry, bitter and hoppy finish. Excellent, well balanced double IPA.
