2012. Rich golden colour. Fruity, with mace and cinnamon. Depth, raisins, dates, with a lot of rich sugars. Has good balance, with a lot of spice, a lot of viscosity...really nice.

200mL bottle, pours a clear golden. Aroma brings out lots of notes of stewed red apples, with residual candied sugar, some toffee and raisins. Flavour is a lot sweeter than the regular Cidre de Glace, with lots of raisins, caramelized pineapple, and some stewed apples. Treacly sweet finish, with a pleasant warming sensation. Marginally better than the non-reserve version. Excellent.

Corked bottle; Reserve 2012
Golden color. Very interesting aroma, sultanas, caramelized pineapple. Very sweet, but not too thick; the caramelized pineapple dominates, it has the right degree of acidity, and the alcohol has a gentle warmth.
Balanced, elegant, vibrant; excellent.

Bottle - Caramel and rich cooked Apple. Deep gold. Dark and rich caramel sweetness. Super rich and thick with a touch of bitterness in the finish.
