One of the first beers brewed at hop shed brewery.
A baltic style porter brewed with dark roasted malts to create a deep black porter. Coffee and chocolate tones from the malt combine with the sweetness from madagascar vanilla beans, and a gentle sting from the piri piri chillies.

Can@SBWF2018. Black colour with a creamy beigeish brown head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, some roasted tones with coffee, chocolate, rye and some chili and peppery tones as well. Flavour is chocolate, some roasted ntoes, coffee, some chilies and mild toffee too. Quite nicely balanced, and not at all as messy as some chili beers can be.

(Can, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 6 Oct 2018) Black colour with dense beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, black rye bread and a touch of chilli. Malty, roasted taste with dark chocolate, coffee, black rye bread and a spicy chilli touch in a finish with a balanced coffee bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well made with a balanced chilli touch. Nice one.

Can from systembolaget. Pours dark brown with a disappearing tan head. Aroma of chocolate and a little dark fruits. Taste of chocolate, roasted malts, coffee and some chili heat.

Can. (thanks Jonas) Black with a large tan head. Fairly mild with chocolate, vanilla, dark malt and some hints of tobacco. The body was medium and the finish on the dry side.
