Bottle bought @ Ølbutikken and consumed on October 18. Pours deep golden with a sticky white head. Smell is elderberries, coffee and lemon zest. Taste is dry and rather rough with lots of coffee. It’s slightly sour and slightly bitter. Finish has lots of coffee and last a long time. Wierd, interesting and rather so-so.

33cl bottle, bottled in August 2011. Poured deep golden with a nice white head, lacing. Aroma has bitter coffee with some nice fruityness trying to get through from behind. Flavor similar, but the coffee takes over. Strong bitterness, at last the fruity notes (comes to think of mango and apricots) becomes more evident in the finish. The coffee didn´t really fit in very good in this one, even so, not that bad.

Draught@SBWF2011. Hazy orange colour, huge off-white creamy head (due to problems with tap preassure). Aroma is very chili like (lots of coffee?), malts and some slight hoppyness. Flavour is coffee, malts, fruits and some slight spicy notes. Apparently it’s the coffee giving this one a quite spicy burning aroma.

Bottled. A dark golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of coffee, grapefruits, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, flowers, malt, coffee, and a bit of chocolate, leading to a very bitter, hoppy, and coffee finish.

33 cl bottle @ home, bottled 23.08.2011, BBE 23.08.2013
Rather stinging aroma with lots of nettles and cold coffee. Lots of CO2 on palate that affects the taste also. Flavour has cold coffee and some nettles. Some chocolate in the finish. Weird but good.

Bottle at T’Arendsnest Café, Amsterdam, Netherlands 29.09.11 on a truly gorgeous, wonderfully warm sunny day. Pours copper in colour with a slim white head. Soft mouthfeel about this beer, easy drinking and rather refreshing, very restrained for De Molen but still a very nice beer,. Not sure that I can taste the Cuban coffee though. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

On tap. Pours a cloudy opaque amber with a dense off-white head. Spicy chili-like, ashy nose - coffee of couse! Fairly light body, a dry fruitiness and again this coffeeish spicyness. The finish is dry. Actually quite fresh and quenching for what it is. 011011
