Our first colleberation beer. This beer was brewed in Scotland at Luckie Ales and at the same time at Bryggeriet Ångkvarn. 80-/ (shilling) is normally characterised by a gentle caramel flavour, toasty with hints of roast (without a strong roasty character though) and little or no hop profile other than for bitterness to balance the caramel sweetness. The yeast profile should be neutral. The beer we brewed together got 7 different types of malt and the only hops was added as first wort hopping with nothing through the boil. Many of our previous beers focused on different hops. This is a beer where we let the malt shine. We hope you will enjoy our 80/-. Cheers! Sláinte! Skål!

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 5 Oct 2017) Reddish amber colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with notes of caramel, toast and dark fruit. Malty, roasted taste with caramel, toast, burnt sugar, dried fruit and a mild earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite enjoyable.

Keg at SBWF. Hazy pale nut brown, small head. Seriously toasty nose. Dry with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Lots of toast, hints of grass and brown sugar. Light resinous bitter finish.
