Blå 2016 is not to be confused with other beer, from another brand with a similar name. This beer is similar to nothing. This beer is wildly different. A vintage brettanomyces beer that lets you travel from Sweden to the European continent in a sip. Pucker up!

This beer is a follow-up to one of our favorites, the super limited Le Premier Tonneau Bleue. We have some barrels of brett beer stashed away here at the brewery. And when I write we I mean Calle, our resident microbiologist. Barrels that we, from time to time, go and take tasters from. To see how the beer has aged. To check if its any good. (It always is.) Then, every once in a while, we use this beer to create blends of lovely puckering sour beer. Always exciting and something we hope to do more of in the future.
