Bottled. Very black, no head. Rich blueberry aroma with some salmiak. Mid sweet with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Some milk chocolate and licorice, plenty of blueberry jam. Long roasty bitter finish. Unconventional but functional use of an otherwise very dull berry. The first time I feel that blueberries contributes to anything in a beer.

Tap at New Albanian. Strong blueberry and toffee malt aroma. Opaque black color with moderate head. Toffee malt and mildly bitter herbal hops flavor. Mildly sweet blueberry finish. Nicely blended.

355 ml bottle from Systembolaget. Opaque, black liquid with small to medium tan head. Aroma of blueberries, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, smoke and even more blueberries. Taste is really chocolatey and roasted, light sweet and medium to high bitter. Really balanced. Medium to full bodied with nice carbonation. Really nice one. Smells like blueberries without becoming artificial and tastes like a really good stout. Well done!

Bottle - Black in colour with a tan head. Blueberry, coffee and plain chocolate in the aroma. Blueberry, roasted malt, Bournville chocolate and coffee feature in the taste. Interesting and rather enjoyable.

Bottle from systembolaget. Aroma of blueberry jam and roasted malt. Lots of blueberries in the taste as well, along with rosted malt and licorice. The fruityness is a bitt odd in a heavy bodied beer.

Bottle. Black, with a small tan head. Aroma of berries, coffee, roasted malt and chocolate. Not as much blueberries in the sweet taste as expected. (my bottle was about one year old) Not a superb beer but ok and easy to drink.

Black with a disappearing dark brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and lots of blueberry. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and roasted rather bitter. Oily. 011111

Pours pitch black with a small sticky brown head. Aroma has notes of roasted malts, hops and hints of berries. Taste is quite roasty and hoppy with notes of fruits. Strong roasty finish with hints of berries. Nice, quite roasty stout.
