Sour Pang is a proof of concept around hops and yeast. American Sour style, combines a base recipe of India Pale Ale, with American hopping techniques, plus a special yeast grown in the laboratory. The result is a very complex beer, pale in color and somewhat cloudy, with a marked presence of grapefruit, lime and flowers in aroma. In the mouth it shows a classic IPA profile, balanced bitterness, sweet fruit and citrus that quickly transitions to acidity, the main characteristic of the “Sour” style, but in a moderate and affordable way, obtaining a fresh and easy drink from the whole.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Na’ama’s place. Thanks Stas. Hazy golden with a white head. Slightly sourish aroma, yeasty, with a bit of lacto, fruitiness. Sourish flavor, yeasty, fruity, with a bitter finish.

Bottle from Sesma @ Lerma beer festival. Hazy golden coloured with a white head. Nose is turkish delight, citric, light malty. Flavour is citrus, turkish delight, vanilla, soda pop, fruity. Yummy.

Appearance: Golden colour with a white head.

Tasted @ Nobeljas Beerfestival. Golden color with a white head. aroma is sourish with light caramelish notes. Flavor with good sourness with citrus notes.

Caña en summer beer festival Gijón 2015. 21-08-2015. (r02). Color ámbar turbio con espuma blanca. sabores y aromas maltosos y ácidos con cuerpo medio fácil de beber. No está mal.
