Kaffebackens Cream stout är en havrestout. Receptet baserar sig på den havrestout som vi vann
silver med i klassen ”Mild stout och porter” under SM i hembryggd öl 2015.
Ölet är döpt efter Kaffebacken som är en del av Värmdöleden som slingrar sig bredvid Gäddviken,
alldeles intill bryggeriet. Vägremsan fick sitt namn efter dofterna från nyrostade kaffebönor från
Kooperativa förbundets kafferosteri som producerade Cirkelkaffe här under 1970-90-talet.

Bottle (Systembolaget). Black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is caramel, some toast, mild coffee and a bit roasted elements. Flavour is coffee, chocolate, roasted malts and some lactose to it.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 7 Oct 2017) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, dark chocolate and black rye bread. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, chocolate, dark rye bread and a balanced roasty bitterness in a dry finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty, creamy and well balanced stout. Nice one

At SBWF 2017. Black with a large tan head. Mild with coffee, chocolate, coffee and some light fruit. The body was light and the finish medium bitter.

Tap at SBWF. Opaque black colour, huge brownish head. Sticky odd caramelly, toasted aroma. Light-bodied. Coffee and licorice are evident in the flavour although beer itself is very watery. Meh ...

Keg at SBWF. Black with rich creamy beige head. Coffee and bread up front. Mid sweet with medium body and creamy, rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate, coffee, a hint of apples. Mid bitter finish.
