Bottle from Khioskh, Copenhagen. Coca cola coloured with little head. Lots of hops and malt nicely interwoven. Pine, coca cola candy, caramell, rosted malts, sweet brown bread and a distinct bitterness. Rather sweet mouthfeel but still well balanced.

Pours brown with a large, lasting head.Nose shows spicy, fruity hops, caramel and nutty notes. Lots of resinous pine in there. Bit of a clash to be honest.Flavours are similarly hoppy, again mainly pine. Seems a bit one-dimensional and almost harsh.Carbonation is pretty full-on.

360ml bottle shared with other ratebeerians at Craft Beer Co., Clerkenwell. Unclear, dark brown body. Tiny, beige head. Promising aroma of brown malts. Chocolate and nutty flavours added by subdued dark fruits. Mild bittering malts to the finish. Medium bodied. Pleasant to drink (London, 01.08.2011).

Bottle from GBBF 2011 drunk at home. Very dark brown beer with lasting thick beige head. Had to decant this a couple of times. Slightly spicy deep malty aroma. Some hops on aroma too. Some alcohol is there. Adds to the spiciness. Some decent malts too. What an unusual beer. Very malty in the mouth. Decent enough, but very decent malts. Touch too much alcohol maybe. Good spicy hop on the finish.

Bottled@Craft Beer Co, London. Amber colour, small beige foamy head. Aroma and flavour is fruity and floral with mild chocolate, yeast and some mild earthy notes. Also some slight toffee in the flavour as it warms up a bit.
