Пил Японское пиво в Японском заведении. Карамель на вкусе, есть травянистость небольшая, от него горечь. Нормальный браун в целом, но мне бы питкости добавить.

Aroma of malt, caramel, fruits, hops. Flavour is light sweet with a medium bitter finish. Yes, really tasty hoppy Brown Ale.

That won't help the hangover, but I like the beer.

Bottle, stable creamy bubbly head, cloudy deep brown with just a touch of reddish hues, aroma of chocolate cake maltiness and a bit of candy, flavor of toffee and candy with a light noticable herbal Bitterness. Not really interesting but well made.

Brown with a thin, creamy head. Aroma of caramel, a touch herbal, a background of ginger and sweat. Taste is mildly bitter with a low, underlying tartness. Body stays to the light side of medium, carbonation is mild. Okayish.

Draught at Naka Meguro taproom. Dark amber colour, not much head, just a little bit of white. Aroma is spicy and a bit of stinky b.o. hop. Taste is gingery and hoppy bitterness, fading into sweet maltiness. Very prickly in the mouth. Nice.

Bottle from a liquor shop in Sawa, Ibaraki, Japan. A murky brown coloured pour with virtually no head on top. Malty, caramel, fruity aroma. Tastes similar, malty, fruity, caramel. A little thin but very easy to drink.

English-style brown ale from this English-owned Japanese brewery, bottle bought at Heilig Hart’s webshop. Tightly lacing, irregular, moussy, pale greyish white, stable head over a lightly hazy, translucent ruddy mahogany brown beer with coppery red hue. Aroma of pink peppercorns, red bell pepper, caramel candy, freshly cut red apple, raw rhubarb, cooked turnip, red beetroot, horseradish even, unripe peach, redcurrant, grape peel, sourdough, damp soil, dried old orange peel, unripe blue plum, light grapefruit juice, cloves, vague liquorice. Fruity onset, lots of red apple crispness, hints of peach, pear and some light pineapple, sweetish core with mildly souring edges, medium carbo, slick and supple mouthfeel. Light but well-dosed malt body, with a nutty, fuller, caramelly sweetish side to it on the one hand and a sharper, cereally graininess on the other side but adding a bitterish toasty quality later on, bit resiny, with ongoing fruity aspects; ends dryish, with sourish impressions lingering alongside a herbal, softly spicy and lightly citrus peel-like hop bitterishness which remains elegant and subtle, penetrating the bittersweetish, nutty and toasty malts with a soft bitterness without becoming overpowering as would be the case in an American-style interpretation of this beer genre. Remains crisp, fruity and juicy, nothing really complex or otherwise ambitious going on here, but to the point, very quaffable and elegant. Has the lightness and quenching features of any proper English brown ale - a style remarkably diminishing in its country of origin. Fits its style denominator quite well.
