From tap. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma is roasted malty, chocolate and breadish dark. Fruity too. Dark roasted malt. No sweetness, light herbal fruity. Dry and malt far finish.

Appearance: Black colour with a beige head.
Aroma: Hops, liquorice, chocolate, caramel, a bit floral.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.

Draught @ BBB. Pours pale black with a frothy beige head that leaves some sticky lacing and trace on the glass. Smell is slightly malty, slightly fruity and herbal with roasted malts, grapefruit juice, moist green herbs, freshly cut grass, pine needles, liquorice, orange zest and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter, tiny malty, slightly fruity and tiny grassy. Mouthfeel is tiny dry, astringent, tiny watery and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with plenty of sichuan peppery citrus zest. Decent but doesn’t quite take off.

Tasted from the tap on the 10/02/2016. Black opaque colour with medium white head. Aroma of roasted malts and hops. Taste is medium dry with presence of coffee, roasted malts and some cocoa. Dry and bitter finish. Next one please!
