Göteborgs 1810 Oktoberfest är ett öl som speglar den typen av lageröl som prinsgemålerna Ludwig och Therese en gång fick smaka. Lätt brända toner med en inte alltför brutal beska hittar du i detta kalljästa bayerska öl.

Folkfesten på Theresienwiesn har inspirerat många till stordåd men de flesta ideer har fallit i humlekryddad glömska.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Brown with a medium head. Quite sweet with caramel, malt, hints of smoke and some light fruit. On the thin side and with a low bitterness.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Very dark brown, brief head. Buttery caramel aroma. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Treacle and caramel,a touch of lemon, near no bitterness. Lifeless, poorly executed American style interpretation of festbier with low drinkability.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber brown color with a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty grainy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.

Bottled. A brown beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of caramel and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle shared@Taphouse, Copenhagen - Dark brown pour with beige head. Aroma and taste is sweet malty, caramel, toffee, nutty, some fruit cake qualities, medium malty finish.

50 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden hazzlenut brown with a small tan head. Aroma is grainy, grassy amd toasted malt. Mild sweet. Toasted malty. Breadish and caramelish. Dry, bitter and toated finish.
