On tap. Pours red gold. Sharp vinegar, vegetables, syrup, maybe some biscuit and certainly a little mango and peach. Really pretty awful.

(Bottle) Pours clear amber brown with almost no head. Aroma has citrus and cardboard notes. Medium body with light carbonation. Sweet toffee balanced by fairly intense bitterness. OK but not great.

330ml bottle into tulip glass. Gusher! Smoky, fruity nose. Golden/bronze beer with thin white head. A few bubbles ascend. Oily texture, body is thinner than expected. Slightly bitter taste is followed by long but mild citric hops. Hides its alcohol well, easy drinking. It’s nice but it’s just a shadow of some of the U.S. pale ales.
