Draught@SBWF2015. Black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocolate, some chili, mild caramel as well as some raisins and mild toffee tones. Roasted and chocolaty tones with mild spices, floral, dates and figs. A bit chili elements in the flavour too, but rather balanced.

Bottle. It’s almost black in the glass, topped by a small, beige head. The aroma has notes of burnt malts, with chili hints, burnt down bonfire and a generic roasted touch. It’s full-bodied and nicely carbonated, with a weak chili burn and flavors of bonfire, roasted malts and burnt malts. Lasting burnt finish. Too much on the bonfire side for me this one, but it’s quite tasteful anyway. 160102

500ml bottle, N199, from Vinmonopolet Bestillingsutvalget. Decent fawn-coloured head covering a jet black body. Aroma of grainy malts, hints of coffee. Roasted malty flavours including notes of coffee and with late arrival of chili, not overdone. Pretty decent (shared at a Sunday rating session with Finn and djoeye, Tromsø 03.04.2016).

Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Batch N199. Delt med djoeye og Rune på Nerstranda 3 Apr 16. Svart. Lavt mokkafarget skum. Lett krydderaroma. Smaken mye pepper. For mye. Overdøver alt annet.

500 ml bottle. Dark brown, almost black body with a small beige head. Weak aroma of roasted malt with a hint of green pepper. Flavor has mild roasted malt, mild chili and moderate in bitterness. Medium body and aftertaste. Drinkable but feels a bit plain and flavorless.

Black with a brown head - Roasted malt aroma with spicy notes - Roasted malt body that gets warm and spicy from chilli - The malt and chilli goes into a hot finish - Quite ok with food that needs spice

50cl as a gift. Pours very dark brown with a beige head. Malty and fairly spicy aroma with noticeable chilli, some licorice, dark fruits and hints of dried fruits. Medium sweet with fairly mild flavours, but a very nice chilli burn. Quite nice in the end.
