This double dry hopped IPA contains the same base ingredients, for both malt and hops, as Fort Point, but with an additional dry hop of Citra. The added hops richly enhance the juicy tropical fruit flavors of pineapple/mango, create elevated green, herbaceous aromatics, and increase body.

STYLE: India Pale Ale
ABV: 6.6%
HOPS: Citra, Columbus
MALT: American 2-Row Barley, White Wheat, C-15, Dextrine

On draft at the brewery in Boston. Hazy yellow gold with a medium white head. Grapefruit and mango aroma. Flavour of grapefruit, pineapple, mango. Beautiful moreish finish

Can, thanks VastActiv! Nice hazy yellow orange, white peach juice with some good pulp. Nose has lots of lupulin dust, DDH tingle, white grapefruit citrus. Tastes soft, pomelo style citrus, creamy and superbly balanced. Pretty good one, fully enjoyable. Light grassy bitterness tingling in the finish.

Cans from Trillium Canton: pours opaque light orange with a white head. Aroma is typical thick tropical fruitiness, pine, spice. Taste is rather bitter, and a bit spicy for lack of a better word. The flavor profile is rather sharp and hardly to my liking.

16 ounce cans at share. I hit the Trillium trifecta tonight, getting to try three of their double dry hopped ales. The Fort point was no exception. Very well-crafted, citrusy, fruity, with a nice lingering bitterness that seems to go on forever. Juicy and silky smooth.
