From tap. Pours pitch black, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, towards smoked. Dry malty, liqourice and smoked. Lingering dark breadish and liqourice finish.

Draft @ Bishops Arms Savoy, Malmö. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty smoky chocolate and caramel aroma. Roasted malty smoky flavor. Has a roasted malty smoky caramel finish.

(Draught at Ardbeg Embassy, Stockholm, 18 Dec 2014) Dark brown colour, almost black, with rocky beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, pine needles, gentle aromas of smoke, liquorice and black rye bread. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, liquorice, cacao, black rye bread, hints of smoke and a generous piney bitterness in a fairly dry finish. Medium body, quite dry. Complex and tasty, with a gentle smoke character. Very nice.

On tap at Bishops Arms Vasagatan. Black with a medium creamy tan head. Light smoke in the aroma and taste. Also caramel, licorice and some bread. Drinkable but a bit weak.

Keg at Bishops Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Black with mid sized beige head. Licorice, butter and slight dusty smoke up front. Dry with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Dusty licorice, very light smoke. Some metal in a resiny finish. Edgy.
