(Bottle, 0.25 l - BB 09/2019, at Pikkulintu, 20150127) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had wood, vanilla, burnt malts and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, vanilla, wood, ash, liquorice, mämmi and bitterness. Aftertaste had wood, vanilla, burtness and mämmi. A tasty and complex brew.

Bottle. This one has got all the things you want from a stout. Its heavily roasted with sweet chocolate notes and a touch of smoke. Smooth mouthfeel.

Draught@SBWF2014. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some wood, mild herbal and toffeeish notes along with some roasted notes. Flavour is wooden, some liquorice, mild ashes, toffee and some slight earthy notes. Balanced, and actually quite easy to drink.
