Sample at SBWF 2014. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of wood, dark chocolate, licorice and coffee. Some whisky in the taste, also dark bitter chocolate, coffee and licorice. The finish was bitter and long. I wonder how this will age?

Tap at SBWF2014. Dark black color, tiny off-white head. Strong aroma of wood, oak, licorice and roast. Medium-bodied to full-bodied. Licorice, oak, roasted. Excellent. Rounded.

Opaque beer with beige head. Aroma of chocolate, leather and some liquorice. Taste is more or less the same with boozy, whisky notes intensifying as the beer gets warmer.

Draught (Stockholm Beer Festival 2014) - Black in colour. Liquorice, coffee and some woody notes in the aroma. Plain chocolate, coffee and some subtle notes of whisky can be detected in the taste.

Keg at SBWF. Black with tan head. Coffee and licorice. Mid sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Black pepper, leather, coffee. Drying salty licorice finish. Rich with subtle oak character.
