Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av choklad, karamell, citrus, jord, tall med toner av lakrits, apelsin och röda bär. Lagom sötma, frisk och fruktig, fin beska med smak av grapefrukt, tall och citrusskal. Mycket gott!

Aroma is sweet and hoppy with nuts, licorice and fruits. Also roastiness. Flavour has tropical fruits, licorice, nuts, coffee and mild hayish tones. Quite pleasant, I like the licorice here – and the balance between roastiness and hops.

Flaska från SB april-15. Mörkbrun med högt beige skum. Stor humledoft trots att flaskan snart är ett halvår. Mycket nyavärldenhumle med tall och citrus men också en hel del malt med choklad, lakrits, enbär. Torr, relativt hög beska men med bra harmoni i smakbilden. En modern välhumlad imperial brown ale som jag tycker Nils Oscar lyckats riktigt bra med.

Keg at SBWF 2014. Cloudy nut brown, small head. Roasty and buttery with notes of pepper. Mid sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Caramel and salty grass. Mid bitter finish.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 4 Oct 2014) Dark reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, hoppy nose with dark bread, citrus, cacao and a touch of pine needles. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of dark bread, chocolate, coffee, citric hops, pine needles and a certain citric/piney bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, quite dry. Well balanced and tasty. Nice one. (6/4/7/4/14=3.5) Rerate: (Bottle, 18 Nov 2018) Dark brown colour with hints of ruby. Frothy, beige head. Malty, hoppy nose with dark bread, orange peel, dried fruit, figs, coffee, liquorice, burnt sugar and pine needles. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of dark bread, dried figs, orange peel, liquorice, brown sugar, pine needles and a generous citric/piney bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness.Tasty and quite complex, with a generous hop profile. Nice one.

Draft @ SBWF 2014. Pours a dark brown black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty caramel aroma. Roasted malty caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty caramel finish.
