Skördefest i södra Dalarna presenterar en halvtorr blend av ren, torr mjöd gjord på honung från Familjen Laby i Hedemora och en sötare mjöd med tallskott som lagrats med färskpressade lingon. Den slutgiltiga blenden har i en veckas tid fått sällskap av bruna senapsfrön. Allt är skördat i Dalarna. Idén till mjödet kan tillskrivas LissEllas senaps passionerade smakutvecklare. Drycken finner god balans mellan den torra mjödens vinlika inslag, senapens eldighet och lingonens syra. Det blir till en fröjd i glaset.

Bottled@SBWF2014 (thanks Svesse!). Golden colour, no head. Aroma is spices, honey, mild nutmeg and some spruce. Flavour is honey, spruce, some mustard seeds, mild nectar and some herbs. Smooth, and the mustard gives it a nice kick.

Sweet, lingonberry, tart, some sulphur and nail polish scent. Tart, lingonberry, then sweet taste. Warming alcohol. Smooth mouthfeel. Tart finish. Lingonberry aftertaste.Taste holds up a lot better than the scent.5/5/8/4/15=3.7

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 4 Oct 2014) Very pale pink colour with no head. Fruity, vinous nose with notes of honey, lingonberries and grass. Fruity taste with honey, lingonberries, grass, a touch of pine needles and a slightly vinous finish with a certain sweetness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Well balanced and interesting. Quite enjoyable.
