33cl bottle, courtesy of gregwilsonstl, pours with a clear copper body that has thin gold edges and supports a full tan head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up pine hops, citrus hard candy, sticky hop infused malts and a dash of sweet smelling molasses off in the background. The taste begins smooth for a brief moment as a flash of juicy citrus hops show up just before the hammer of firm malt thickened pine hops tries to slam your palate to the floor. The hops are bitter and resiny and thick and surrounded thinly by malts. Toward the finish a slender amount of floral hops fight their way to the surface. Nice sipper.

Bottle 330ml (Firmabier)
A bit hazy amber color, small beige head. Aroma has ryeish maltyness, toffee and English hops. Medium-bodied, even a bit thinnish for ABV. Toffeish, malty, ryeish, warming. Quite simple, more hops and more malts is better. But very English BW.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber gold with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grass with sweet grains and a bit of caramel underlying. Flavor has a good amount of sweet grains and toffee with a bit of grass and caramel in the finish.

Bottle 330ml @ Geokkjer
Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, dried fruits, alcohol and floral. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long malty, dried fruity and caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. More or less clear, dark golden in color and with a dense, finger-thick light beige head that leaves some curtains. It has some alcohol on the nose, but not much, there’s sweetish malts, some dried fruits and a piney touch. It’s sweet, full-bodied and lightly warming on the palate, with sweet malts, dried fruits and some pine cones. Lasting finish with a tad much grains. Sure a nice one, blending hops and malts in a clever way, even though it’s a tad more grainy than I’d prefer. 150711

From bottle with JMD and AV at AVs place. Slightly hazy orange golden. Foamy off-white head and lacing. Aroma and taste of Sevilla oranges, marmelade and pine shoots. Sublimely complex!
