Tight off white head stayed on a reddish brown still body. Huge aroma of leather & stewed fruit. Full bodied, heavy, sticky & cloying on the palate. Bitter/Sweet tastes with stewed fruit, malt, pith, bitter hops, faint smoke, marmalade & woody tastes with long tangy finish. Excellent.

Tap at Craft. Lovely, malty, caramel, nice stuff, not so boozy. Apple fritters. Toffee. Taste is good. Lots of flavour, fruity, sticky. Good stuff.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark amber colour with slightly late awakening, small, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Sweet-ish, minimally sugary, caramel malty aroma, notes of caramel, hints of toffee, minimally fruity, hoppy overtones. Taste is sweet malty, notes of caramel, hints of almond, a touch of toffee, moderately bitter, minimally fruity hoppy, a touch of dried fruit, raisin, apricot; lingering bitter hoppy finish. Full body, smooth and soft palate, gentle carbonation. Well balanced, dangerously drinkable. Good.

330ml bottle. Pours clear-ish deep amber golden with a white head. Aroma: sweet malts, sweet bread, dried fruits, caramel, toffee. Taste: moderate sweet & bitter, rich malts, dried fruits, a little syrupy, caramel, hoppy. Medium body, soft carb, sweet nutty finish. 4.5 years old and tasting superb

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is sweet fruity, leafs, sugar, alcohol, hops, wet grass, caramel, citrus peel, grain. Taste is sweet grassy, leafs, alcohol, grain, sugar, hops, wet grass, citrus peel, bark, soil. Longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Aker Brygge a year ago. Firm off-white head to a bright copper coloured body. Clingy lacing. Promising aroma of dried fruits, almond and bread. Mixed taste profile of mid-sweet dried fruits, almond and brown mats. Warmth for the alcohol to a lingering rather sweet dried fruity ending. Heavy to drink. Alright slow sipper. (Shared with djoeye and Finn, rating session in Tromsø 08.11.2017).

from tap at Himmeriget. During Mikkeller Beer Week, 10.05.2017. Vintage 2014. Amber cloudy color, small white head. smells sweet, berry notes, ripe fruits, caramel, spices. nice smell. Full body,light carbonation, slick nutshell. tastes of berry notes, some sweetness, a bit sirupy, some exotic fruits. finishes lightly bitter and heavy with exotic fruits but also some bitterness with notes of exotic fruits, caramel, and some spices. nice one overall but also quite heavy.
