Med hopp om vårsol och spirande grönska lanserar S:t Eriks Bryggeri för fjärde året i rad ett nytt påsköl. S:t Eriks Påskale 2014 är en Amerikansk Pale Ale. En ölsort som uppkom på den amerikanska västkusten i slutet av 70-talet och kännetecknas av en tydlig humlekaraktär. Även om APA inte precis är en klassisk påsköl så är det kul att uppdatera traditionerna både med en ljus humlearomatisk påsköl och att använda fantastiska Australiensiska humlen Galaxy till en traditionell Amerikansk ölstil.\r\nS:t Eriks Påskale doftar av varma tropiska frukter med allt från mogen melon till mango. Smaken är lätt brödigt söt med aromatisk, smakrik, mycket balanserad beska.

Bottled. A golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of spices, hops, and butter. The flavor is sweet with notes of spices, hops, caramel, and a bit of butter, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours amber with a white head. A rather British maltyness with us pine and citrus hops

33 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy, butteriahs and light herbal. Sweet, fruity and citrusy. Crisp hoppy and mild fruity.bitter and mild sweet finish.

Gulbrun tåkete med tett høyt skum. Humle, sitrus og lukt av røde bær. Svært frisk selv med rikelig humlebitterhet. Masse fruktsødme hele vegen, men ikke i veien for bitterheten. Kompleks. lang

330ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Malt, peach and sultanas in the aroma. Malty, fruity and slightly sweet taste with notes of grain, peach, apricot, sultanas and caramel.

330ml bottle. Huge, bubbly white head that stayed well at the top of clear golden coloured body. Ok lacing. Dusty hops on the nose alongside hints mid-sweet malts. Mixed flavour of caramel malts and fresh fruity hops. Resinous bittersweet ending. Medium bodied. Soft carbonated. Just alright, far from great though (kindly shared by djoeye, Tromsø 07.05.2014).

Where: From Systembolaget, had at home.
Appearance: Clear amber colour with an off-white head.
Aroma: Citrus, hops, caramel, fruit.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Citrus, caramel, tropical fruit. Bitter finish.

Light amber with lasting head. Malt and peach aroma. Also melon in the taste. Soft, yet full bitterness.
