Draught @ The Rover: Pours hazy amberish golden with frothy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some thick lacing on the glass. Smell is herbal and floral with crackers, grapefruit juice, freshly cut grass, pine needles, yellow wine gums, melon rinds, lemon zest and orange zest. Taste is bitter, herbal and floral with crackers, grapefruit juice, pine needles, freshly cut grass, chives, lemon zest, melon rinds, black currant leaves, chives, grapefruit rinds and hints of frozen peas. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter and floral with crackers, grapefruit rinds, orange peal, lemon zest, pine needles, freshly cut grass, black currant leaves, lemon balm and chives. Pretty good thrist-quenching APA.
