Hazy pale golden color. Lovely tannic nose. Very tart lots of tannins and lots of pear and stewed pear notes. Fantastic. Very tannic but sweet balances it out. Wow.

Unclear light silver yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy pear, pear peel, band.aid - gaze. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, dry, tart pear. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20110805]

Cask@GBBF2011. Hazy yellow colour, no head. Aroma is sweet pear, some slight yeasty notes as well as mild sugary notes. Flavour is pear, mild vinegar, rather sweet fruitjuicy and wooden notes.

Polycask, at The Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage, Oxon, run by Peter Fowler (former Pitstop brewer) 15.01.11 Pours hazy gold with a few stray bubbles, reasonable clarity. Good fruity aroma, taste is wonderful a touch sweet but loads of body and this is a gorgeous perry. I’m very impressed, this is my favourite of the night, I could get seriously messy on this stuff.
