Hazy pale golden color. Lovely tannic nose. Very tart lots of tannins and lots of pear and stewed pear notes. Fantastic. Very tannic but sweet balances it out. Wow.

Polycask, at The Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage, Oxon, run by Peter Fowler (former Pitstop brewer) 15.01.11 Pours hazy gold with a few stray bubbles, reasonable clarity. Good fruity aroma, taste is wonderful a touch sweet but loads of body and this is a gorgeous perry. I’m very impressed, this is my favourite of the night, I could get seriously messy on this stuff. I’m sure that this was the correct perry that Peter told me! A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
