Det här är ett väldigt intressant mjöd om det kontrasteras mot ”Kullabrygden”. Båda mjöden är nämligen gjorda på samma honung, och båda är halv-söta, men med den väsentliga skillnaden att det här mjödet även innehåller 200 liter päronmust. Päron skapar dockinga alltför skarpa kontraster, varför skillnaderna blir högst subtila. Ett fruktigt bett i övre gommen, och något högre beska är de tydligaste spåren av päronen, men samtidigt undertrycks de något ”päronaktiga” tonerna från inslagen av lind- och hallonblom i honungen, vilket gör det hela lite förvirrande.

Flaska från SB. Liknar ett halvtorrt vitt vin med tydlig smak av vaxig honung, lätt päronskalssmak och märkligt nog en lätt smak av räkskal. Säkert perfekt till räkor :-). Ok

Bottled (backlog). Silvery yellow colour with no head. Aroma is honey, pear and some alcohol pushing through. Flavour is fruit juice concentrate, honey, some pear and mild floral notes. A bit on the boozy side of things, but still quite pleasant to drink.
