Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a small but longlasting foamy white head. Aroma is spiciness, some yeast spruce, some tropical fruits and a bit herbal tones. Flavour is fruity, some yeasty/spicy tones with mild alcohol as well as some lemongrassy tones. Somewhat dry palate.

Very hazy golden honey coloured body with a one centimetre thick just off-white head with some perceived sediment, even at the top of the bottle. Aroma of yeast, wheat, coriander seed, curacao, grassy, hay, light hops and a hint of anise - nice and very much smelling like a wit and tripel. Medium-bodied; Strong yeast notes up front with a good malt backbone, perhaps of wheat with a light grassy and herbal note of hops, some minor sweetness of honey and a good earthy alcohol vibe at the end. Aftertaste shows some good bitterness from the hops with a small amount of sweetness, and a pungent array of hops, spice and herbal notes - very good and complex finish. Overall, a nice beer with a blending of several styles - belgian ale, wit, tripel and perhaps a light American Pale Ale note as well. Definitely worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods (Pearl) in Portland, Oregon on 11-April-2013 for US$8.49 sampled at home in Wasington on 16-July-2013.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours hazy gold with a frothy, but slight, white head. Aroma is typical Belgian yeast esters - oddly more suggestive of pineapple than banana. Med minus body. Flavor is lightly Belgian yeast/spice, but strongly hoppy. Comes out as earthy and fruity. Quite dry. Peppery aspects show up. Quite an excellent flavor.

Sample @ Stockholm Beer & Whisky 2012. Pours clear golden with a frothy offwhite head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny sweet, fruity and spicy with crackers, dry wood, lemon zest, white pepper, slightly dry grass, barnyard, grape skins and hints of leather. Taste is sweet, slightly malty, fruity and spicy with banana bread, dry soil, green grapes, barnyard, white pepper, dry wood, crackers and hints of leather. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, very tiny tart, very tiny astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter and dry with crackers, dry soil, lemon zest, grape skins and dry peppery wood. Very refreshing! A pleasant surprise!
