Bottled@Monks Cafe Sveavägen, Stockholm. Quite much black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, caramel malts, some roasted notes, mild dark dry fruits as well as some slight alcohol. Flavour is liquorice, roasted malts, caramel malts, some slight syrupy notes as well as some slight alcohol. Wellbalanced and for once something really nice from Argentina.

Bottled 350ml. -Black coloured, medium sized pale brown head, coffee nose with touch of smoke. Roasted malt (slight vinous), coffee and dark fruits with surprisingly short finish. Alcohol is not so pronounced. Pleasant Argentinian stout.

355ml bottle served at Monks Café, Sveavägen. Nice label design. After the pour has settled the beer reveals a thin, beige-brownish head and a deep, dark ruby body. Spotty lacework on the glass. Moderate, but appealing, aroma of sweet dark malts with coffee notes. Blended flavour of sweet and tart malts added by dark fruits and gently bitterness to the finish. Interesting stout that gave a sophisticated impression (Stockholm, 03.09.2009).

Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Very black with rich but brief head. Vague aroma of jelly. Sweetish with clean mouthfeel and fairly slim body. Fruity tar is the lingering impression, though not much flavour comes out. Short finish.

Deep black beer, with a thick impressive black head, nice and creamy. Light coffe aroma, a bit smokey. In mouth, good chocolate malt, coffee and smokey peat. Lighter bodied. Very good. Between a bock and a stout. Bought in Ushuaia, 4$AR. 7.8% alcohol.
