On tap at the Chamberlain. Pours black. Chocolate, strong toast, bit of coffee, plum, cherry. Medium body. Nice.

Bottle, 12C. Black with a tan head. Aroma of mocha, slightly smoky roasted malt, licorice, kumquat. Quite full bodied, smooth. Lowish carbonation. Not all that sweet. There's more chocolate than coffee in the mocha, but roasty flavours and firmish bitterness keep it all in check. There are flashes of tropical fruit that I don't know about - not sure they fitted, but they do lighten the palate. The finish is brief with smoke, pepper and bitterness.
