Raisin Shine Stout

Bottle. Pretty much black with a tan head that fades to a coat. Aroma of roast, sticky licorice, coffee, brioche, grass. Medium bodied. Much less sweet than suggested by the aroma with hints of richness pushed back by fairly firm roast and coffee. Quite a bitter finish with an unusual earthy note. No obvious raisins (not a criticism).
