APPEARANCE:
Golden with slight haze.
AROMA:
Hop driven with pine, tropical fruit and stone fruit aromas from the neutral yeast strain.

Medium bodied with spicy notes and coating mouthfeel from rye malt. Strong bitterness with a dry finish.

(Bottle) Pours clear deep amber with good white head. Nice aroma - pine with floral hints. Very good mouthfeel - medium bodied with plenty of soft carbonation giving smooth texture. Good taste too. Fruity - apricots and citrus - with notes of toffee, but little sweetness, some slight alcohol notes, and plenty of hoppy bitterness. Very good.

From a 640ml bottle on 15/4/2018 (shared with Butz). The aroma features light fruity hops. The flavour is also primarily fruity (mainly citrus) with not much malt present, with a pretty big spicy, dry rye bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Reasonably enjoyable without really inspiring.

Bottle. Started about 10C, liked it more as it warmed a little. Clear orangish amber with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, mango skin, hints of Thai spices as well as rye-like spices. A bit of (Tusk-like) feijoa too. Has the old Mountain Goat alive smoothness, although carbonation is a bit higher than I like. Sweet with light bread and some cooked peach before firm citrus, pine and spices grip. Dries out gradually with fairly high bitterness.
