50cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours deep brown, with some fine, light brown, foam. Aroma is heavily malty, boozy, caramel, herbaceous. Body is dense, with moderate carbonation. Taste is intense, heavily bitter. Finish is fairly long and bitter.

Bottle. A- Caramel, booze, malty. A- Dark brown color, hazy liquid, minimal head. T- Caramel, malty, booze, brown sugar, pine, juniper, mild bitterness. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- Filled with chunks and floaties which I always dislike. I would say this is certainly more barleywine than IIPA. Lots of caramel malt, booze, and toffee notes. Some bitterness, but not really an ipa. A bit of a malt bomb.

At a tasting, thanks, smallish bubbly head, cloudy dark red to light brown color, citrus and biscuit aroma with a dairy hint, flavor of lemon and orange marmalade with biscuit enveloping, light noticable bitterness. Drinkable, nothing too great.
