650ml bottle. Pours cloudy red with a huge head that falls away in peaks. Blackberry, raspberry, tart lemon juice, bread, little pepper, orange peel, little red grape. Big citric acidity, big sweet fruitiness. Absolutely fantastic.

Bottle. Clear red with a just pink head that lasts pretty well. Jammy berry aroma with toffee. Medium bodied, low carbonation. There’s a mild sourness and acidity behind the flavours suggested by the aroma. I’d have guessed the berries included blackcurrants, but no (raspberries, blackberries, boysenberries). I like the balance but the fruit is not as vibrant as hoped. Some bracken right at the end. The description is right - the toffee is like a pie where the pastry has caught slightly on a bit of leaking filling. Quite good but lacks - well - wildness.
