Hazy dark amber color; the head disappears too quickly, fizzing. Nice aroma of malt, cake, fruits (dried raisins?). Malty, quite sweet in the front, correctly balanced later (just the necessary bitterness), caramel, spices, candi sugar, some alcohol perception. Pleasant Winter beer.

Fully hazy dark brown; yellowish tinted head, gone in secs. Nose with brown candi sugar, alcohol like jenever, and a sharp, hay-like smell. Sweet taste, strongly alcoholic, even a bit phenolic, fruity esters and again, a rather sharp finish. Quite some alcoholburn, warming. Aftertaste yields some sourness - I fear for a very, very slight infection... Not bad at all. Pity about the sharpness.
