Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7
Can. Opaque amber with an off white head that fades fast. Aroma of caramel biscuit and prunes, some orange peel and spices. 6 Lightish bodied and both cleaner and less sweet than the aroma suggested. I guess the dark fruit seems more dried than stewed - which is good for this sort of thing - and the finish is spicy, dryish and moderately bitter. Doesn't seem to offer enough to justify it being quite so strong, but it's OK, I suppose, if you are tense and nervous and you can't relax. --- Beer merged from original tick of Psycho Killer on 23 May 2018 at 12:34 - Score: Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.
