Pours black with a dark tan head.Nose shows coffee, heavy roasted malt, soft bready and nutty notes too.Flavours include more coffee, a hint of liquorice, bready and toasty malt notes, a decent whack of roast. Impressive.

From a 375ml can on 18/7/2020 (ABV listed as 6.0%).Pours a deep brown with a biggish head. Smells roasty with a bit of chocolate in the mix.Tastes medium sweet with chocolate and a touch of coffee, with a medium roasty bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Pretty line and length but an eminently drinkable stout. Could perhaps use a bit more coffee.
Don't think I've ever had a stout on cask before. Interesting flavor, very full body.

Bottle. 12C. Black with a beige head. Aroma of coffee, black strap, bread. But the roasted malt holds its own with the coffee upon a sip and there is moderate bitterness to the finish which serves to round things off nicely.
